Skin tag is small (benign) tag of skin that looks as a small piece of soft, hanging skin. Skin tags usually on inconvenient places on the body, and most commonly form around the eyes, on the neck, in the armpits, around the breasts and in the groin area.
Dermatologists explain that majority people will grow at least one skin tag in their life. Although the skin tags are not severe health issues, often are obnoxious, quite unpleasant as appear on specific places and some people consider that are embarrassing or even scary.
Generally speaking, the skin tags are associated with obesity, but that is not the only reason for their occurrence. Namely, sometimes tight and rubbing clothes also cause skin tags to grow. Moreover, pregnant women also may notice skin tag formations.
The most common methods for the removal are freezing and cutting skin tags off, which need to be performed by dermatologist. But, there is much simpler and easier way to remove skin tags and you can do at your home.
The procedure is very simple: all you should do is to rub apple cider vinegar (ACV) on the skin tag 2 to 3 times a day in period of a week, and the skin tag will fall off.
Another option is to soak a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and hold it in place over the skin tag with a bandage.
Note: before using ACV, you need to check for skin irritation.
